Atlas Copco has agreed to accumulate the German industrial pump manufacturer Pumpenfabrik Wangen GmbH from non-public fairness firm Silverfleet Capital.

Pumpenfabrik Wangen has manufacturing facilities in Germany, a US subsidiary and a global gross sales and service footprint. The company employs 265 people and had 2020 revenues of roughly €46.four million.
“Industrial pumps is a segment that we’ve identified as a strategic match for Atlas Copco and Wangen Pumpen has main differentiated expertise with a powerful aftermarket business,” said Andrew Walker, president of Atlas Copco’s Power Technique business area. “Wangen Pumpen is a robust brand and is thought for high quality in demanding industrial purposes. This acquisition will create a strong basis for further development in new industrial pump segments.”
The acquired enterprise will turn out to be a half of the Power and Flow division inside Atlas Copco’s Power Technique Business Area.
The deal is anticipated to be accomplished in the course of the second quarter of 2022 and is subject to regulatory approvals.
