Evoqua Water Technologies has entered into a definitive settlement to amass Smith Engineering Inc, a US designer, producer and servicer of custom excessive purity water treatment equipment.
Headquartered in Chaska, Minnesota, Smith Engineering supplies water remedy services and products, including filtration, UV, reverse osmosis, and deionization, for the biotech/pharmaceutical, data centre, meals and beverage, healthcare, medical system and microelectronics markets. The company has greater than 1,200 prospects in North America.
Evoqua says that the acquisition will enhance its portfolio of high purity water therapy systems and broaden its service footprint in North America.
