The new Parque das Baleias (Whale Park) floating manufacturing, storage and offloading (FPSO) vessel which is heading to Brazil shall be outfitted with Sulzer water injection pumps.

Sulzer will supply 4 packaged pump units, which include a 9.7 MW motor, the 8-stage HPcp pump and all of the auxiliary equipment required for the difficult offshore environment.
Due to be positioned seventy seven km offshore from Espirito Santo, Brazil, the Whale Park FPSO will operate in 1,four hundred m deep waters, processing 100,000 barrels of oil and 5 million cubic metres of natural fuel per day. First oil on deck is focused by 2024.
